What Is the KAEN Confined Space Rescue Harness?

The KAEN confined space rescue harness is a full body safety harness with six D-ring attachment points, each with a clear role:

• Dorsal (back) D-ring: the main fall arrest point, connecting to a tripod winch or self-retracting lifeline
• Dual chest D-rings: for lifting, climbing and rescue retrieval
• Two side waist D-rings: for work positioning with both hands free
• Abdominal D-ring: for rescue lowering and hoisting

It works with confined space rescue tripods, hand winches, self-retracting lifelines and shock-absorbing packs, so it can serve as the body-side core of a complete confined space rescue system.

Key Advantages

High strength and durable materials. The harness uses 100% high-tenacity polyester webbing in 45mm or 50mm width, which resists abrasion and UV exposure. The webbing has a static breaking strength of 22kN or more. The forged alloy steel D-rings have a static breaking strength of 25kN or more, and aluminum alloy quick-adjust buckles allow fast fitting.

Comfort during long suspension. Thickened breathable foam waist padding and soft leg pads spread the load and help reduce the risk of suspension trauma while a worker waits for rescue.

Universal size for teams. Five adjustment points (two shoulder, one chest and two leg straps) allow a close fit for users from 50kg to 140kg. One universal size simplifies purchasing and inventory for rescue teams and distributors.

High visibility and light weight. Orange webbing with black padding is easy to see in dark shafts, pipes and tanks, helping the standby attendant monitor the worker. The harness weighs about 2.1kg.
